The Finance and Accounting Department of VIG holding in Vienna has five teams. At the moment we are expanding our teams because of specific regulations in the insurance industry, namely the new accounting standards for insurance contracts.

Hi my name is Roland I'm the head of the Group Finance and Accounting Department. People who join our team, will be able to get a great Insight in the Finance and Accounting of an international operating group. What makes our department special: even when work it's really hard we still have fun.

Hi I'm Stefan and I work in the group accounting team. We support our local VIG companies with the implementation of new Financial and
Reporting standards. We are also responsible for the preparation of the annual report and quarterly financial statements

Since I started to work seven years ago during my studies, I enjoyed taking over more and more responsibility and get the right range of working experience and now I'm an expert in my field. I think one of the most interesting tasks of the group accounting team is the participation in group-wide implementation projects and to work together with highly motivated colleagues from all VIG companies.

My name is Rebecca and I'm working for the team Analysis & Valuation. My team is handling the analysis and valuation of VIG companies in Central and Eastern Europe. We are looking after different countries and prepare the group annual report under IFRS. Because of my roots in Croatia I was looking for a company with International focus and after graduation I got the opportunity in our team to work both with numbers
and different cultures.

Hi my name is Dasha and I'm part of the Group Tax Services. We're responsible for the tax reporting, which also means we have a lot of business trips because we have to implement a tax reporting tool within our VIG companies. On the other hand we are also responsible for
all kind of transfer pricing issues we also serve as an in-house consultant. That means when the Vig is planning any kind of reorganizational measures we support them for example with Mergers and Acquisitions or due diligences.

My name is Michael and I work in the Solvency 2 team. In our department we prepare the group economic balance sheet and own funds according to European regulatory requirements and we also report to the European supervisory Authority. Our work is very demanding but
it is very satisfying to work closely with the other teams in group accounting and to support our local companies with implementing group standards.

People who join us are always dazzled by the good spirit in the teams and find the international cooperation a valuable asset.
