Your Tasks
As a (Senior) Project Manager (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for leading selected strategic projects and programs within the Holding Company and across the VIG Group. You will manage projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring structured and goal-oriented collaboration among all parties involved as well as the successful achievement of defined project objectives. You will identify dependencies, conflicts, and challenges at an early stage and ensure they are resolved promptly and sustainably.
In this role, you will work closely with the respective Management Boards, IT Management and relevant stakeholders within the Holding Company and the local Group companies. You will be responsible for project portfolio reporting and reviews at both Group and Holding Company level, thereby ensuring transparency regarding project progress, risks, and required actions. In addition, you will actively support the project management community across the VIG Group, promote the exchange of best practices and experience, and act as a trusted sparring partner for the Management Boards of local Group companies on project management-related matters.
- Lead selected projects and programs within the Holding Company and across the VIG Group.
- Ensure successful outcomes and effective collaboration among all parties involved throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Resolve dependencies, conflicts, and issues between stakeholders promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and conduct project portfolio reporting and reviews at Group and Holding Company level for IT Management and the respective Management Boards.
- Actively support the project management community across the Group by facilitating the exchange of best practices and experience.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner for the Management Boards of local Group companies on project management-related matters.
Your Profile
Requirements
- Completed university degree, preferably with a focus on business, economics, or a technical field
- Several years of experience in managing complex IT-focused projects and programs within the insurance or financial services industry
- Project management certification (e.g. PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Agile) is considered an advantage
- Professional and confident presence, strong assertiveness, and an above-average level of commitment
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with a solution-oriented approach and a strong commitment to the highest quality standards
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English; proficiency in an additional CEE language is considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)

Our mission
The annual gross salary (full-time) for the position is at least EUR EUR 80.000,00. Do you have extensive experience and expertise? If so, we're happy to offer a salary above this amount in recognition of your qualifications.
