A disability can sometimes be recognized by a cane or a wheelchair. Very often, however, personal limitations are not recognized. It can also be a chronic illness, the consequences of a serious accident, a cognitive impairment or a (temporary) mental illness. Limitations come in different shapes and forms. Many dear colleagues, my line manager and the Human Resources department gave me great support during a long period of illness.
