Your Tasks
In this position, you will support the Head of Department in the professional and organizational management of the division and work closely with six specialized teams and the Group’s insurance companies in Austria and internationally.
The role combines leadership responsibility with complex technical topics in an international, diverse, and dynamic working environment.
- Deputy leadership of the Finance division, in close coordination with the Head of Department, covering professional, organizational, and people-related aspects, with the aim of ensuring high-quality, timely and efficient service delivery
- Leadership, guidance and development of team leaders and teams, including regular professional and personal exchange, and active contribution to establishing a clear culture of objectives, feedback and development for all employees
- Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements at Group and association level (IFRS), including the preparation of meaningful decision-making materials for the Supervisory Board, management, and external stakeholders
- Financial steering and analysis of our Group companies, including country responsibility, final consolidations, equity reconciliations and intercompany coordination (e.g. reinsurance relationships)
- Key role in Group-wide projects, particularly in cross-divisional and cross-functional initiatives
- Support of audits and special topics, in particular enforcement procedures, project-related work and the ongoing development of finance processes and systems
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Business Administration or a related field (e.g. Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Auditing, or comparable); additional qualifications such as a Certified IFRS Accountant are an advantage
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in Group accounting, auditing, or the finance function of an internationally operating Group
- Experience in leading employees or managers, combined with a clear, respectful, and goal-oriented communication style
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting, experience in Group financial statements and a very good understanding of regulatory requirements
- Analytical and structured working style, paired with a strong sense of responsibility, sound judgment and a high commitment to quality
- Very good German skills and business-fluent English

Our mission
Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 4 472,73 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
