Your Tasks

As part of Vienna Insurance Group, the leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe, we are strengthening our presence in the Nordic markets. To support this strategic development, we are expanding our Industrial Corporate underwriting activities in the region of Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development within a financially strong and well-established international group. You will work closely with local and international colleagues in an environment characterized by trust, responsibility and clear structures, while supporting sustainable portfolio growth in the Nordics.

  • Support the underwriting of Industrial Corporate Property and Business Interruption risks, including international accounts
  • Assist in risk analysis, pricing and preparation of underwriting decisions under guidance of senior colleagues
  • Contribute to the structuring of insurance programs and coverage solutions for corporate clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Risk Engineering, Claims and Reinsurance to gain a holistic understanding of underwriting
  • Support broker and client interactions and gradually take on responsibility in negotiations
  • Contribute to portfolio development and gain insights into profitability, growth and market dynamics

Your Profile

  • First experience in insurance, finance or a related field (e.g. through internships or entry-level roles) is an advantage
  • Educational background in business administration, finance, insurance or a related area
  • Interest in Corporate Property underwriting and willingness to develop technical expertise in Property Damage and Business Interruption
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Fluent English; Nordic language skills are an advantage
