Your Tasks

  • Assist in the calculation and analysis of the results from the internal real estate risk model
  • Technical and methodological refinement of the real estate risk model as well as the underlying models and procedures
  • Development, programming, and maintenance of the tool used for model calculations
  • Collaborating on other processes related to the internal real estate risk model (model changes, application of model results in relevant business areas, documentation)
  • Supporting VIG companies in the application of the real estate risk model
  • Providing support on complex methodological, technical, and regulatory issues

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a comparable quantitative field)
  • Initial relevant professional experience in risk management, asset management (particularly real estate), consulting, at a regulatory agency, or in the financial services sector is a plus
  • Interest in quantitative models and knowledge of real estate risks
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for data and IT; programming skills (ideally in R and VBA) or an interest in further developing these skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3,353.17 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full-time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
