Your Tasks
Would you like to do more than support operational risk management and actively help shape its future? In this role, you will combine your professional expertise with digitalization and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to the future-oriented development of risk management across the VIG Group.
- Co-develop and maintain methods and standards in operational risk management, including the optimization of existing approaches, the contribution of new ideas, and the use of best practices
- Strengthen the involvement of business units within the group-wide risk management framework and, in particular, in operational risk management, actively contributing to a strong risk culture across the VIG Group
- Continuously optimize and further develop the content and functionality of the ICS software solution, with a focus on digitalization, process automation, and improvements in reporting and data quality
- Cross-functional coordination and close collaboration with various departments to ensure the consistent and practical implementation of operational requirements and regulatory standards
Your Profile
- University degree in Business, Economics or a comparable field
- Experience or solid knowledge in operational risk management or internal control systems (ICS), ideally within the insurance industry
- Interest in digital solutions as well as a good understanding of processes and IT-related matters
- Excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a structured approach to work
- Motivation to actively shape change, explore new paths, and drive innovative approaches in risk management
- Team-oriented mindset, professional presence, and the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders toward common objectives
- Very good German and English language skills

Our mission
Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3,353.17 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full-time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
