Your Tasks
- Strategic, economic and operational management of the Retail Insurance & Business Support division as well as management and employee development
- Strategic coordination within the Group and support for the local companies in the areas of product development and pricing, portfolio management, controlling of insurance technical results, digital transformation in the non-life and personal lines of business
- Promoting the exchange of knowledge, expertise and experience within the group in both Non-life and Life segments. Supporting the implementation of best practices and innovations of the VIG Group
- Recognising and realising of synergy potentials within the group in the context of core underwriting processes (pricing, underwriting, claims)
- Continuously monitoring trends with regard to developments related in the insurance industry and the VIG companies and identifying new technological trends
- Monitoring and analysing of technical insurance KPIs from the group companies and reporting to the board member responsible for the division
- Direct cooperation with the Management Board
Your Profile
- Completed university degree in business administration, actuarial science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of management experience and relevant professional experience in the insurance industry
- Comprehensive understanding of core insurance processes and key performance indicators
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly developed analytical skills combined with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
- High customer orientation and committed to service excellence
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 5,230.37 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant with a correspondingly adequate overpayment for this responsible position. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
