Strategic goal of the department Here, risks are limited and distributed, and the reinsurance strategy for the entire VIG Group is controlled and communicated.
Core tasks:
Providing protection against major claims, for example as a result of natural disasters
Developing Group-wide reinsurance programmes and standards
Coordinating reinsurance across the VIG Group
Daily Business:
Coordinating a uniform market presence
Placing and managing reinsurance contracts
Developing and auditing compliance with reinsurance security standards
Key Qualifications
Completed degree or comparable training
Financial mathematical knowledge and actuarial knowledge in the non-life sector an advantage
Initial professional experience such as in the area of actuarial practice, risk management or controlling desired
Very good knowledge of English, German and Eastern European language skills an advantage
High level of individual responsibility and personal commitment
Enjoyment in dealing with colleagues with different mentalities/cultures and strong communication skills
´Very good MS Office skills
