Generally, Vienna Insurance Group is highly interested in an enriching exchange and constructive feedback on its social media platforms. In that regard, we put emphasis on every user being able to express themselves freely and on nobody being excluded.

VIG promotes and supports a respectful and fair discussion, which is based on factual critique, even if views differ. In order to ensure a pleasant conversational atmosphere, following rules apply to comments and postings on LinkedIn, X (former Twitter), Xing and YouTube:

Content is not tolerated, if

  • Racism and discrimination
  • An offensive language, insults and verbal abuse
  • Spam and advertisement
  • Pornographic content
  • Personal attacks and vulgarities
  • Threats or the incitement of violence are included
  • or it contradicts statutory prohibitions (e.g. Prohibition Act, Penal Code).

Therefore, we must insist on these commenting guidelines for our social media sites and reserve the right to delete specific posts in case of violations, or to ban users from our channels in case of serious or repeated violations. Content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights, can be prosecuted.
