VIG Kids Camp
Get to know and learn
It is never too early to promote solidarity, interculturality and mutual understanding. That's why Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein invites up to 500 children (aged nine to 13) to the VIG Kids Camp in Austria every summer to teach these very values through play.
Within this framework, they exchange views, discover differences and similarities and make friends. The children do sports together, explore Austria and visit facilities for senior citizens. That is how the little ones can learn from adults, but adults can also learn from the little ones.
Participation in the VIG Kids Camp is always highly coveted and only requires a little bit of luck and creativity: At the start of the year, a creative competition is held throughout the Group and the best submissions are awarded with an invitation to the VIG Kids Camp.
Important values
We can only change the world if we actively work on it, tackle things with a positive attitude and exemplify important values. Mutual understanding, solidarity, respect and peaceful coexistence are precisely such values for us. We want to pass them on to the younger generation. That is why we organise programmes and get involved in initiatives that promote precisely these values.
