Vienna Insurance Group: Another female executive fills important position in the Group
Sabine Stiller appointed Head of the General Secretariat
At the beginning of the year, Vienna Insurance Group appointed Sabine Stiller (28) as the new Head of the Group’s General Secretariat. Another female executive has thus taken on a leading role in one of the Group’s central functions. Together with her team of seven colleagues, she is responsible for multi-national and inter-divisional projects, the preparation of annual and interim reports as well as the carrying out of market analyses. Her predecessor, Gabor Lehel, is joining the Management Board of Kooperativa in Bratislava.
“I am very proud that the appointment of Sabine Stiller as Head of the Group’s General Secretariat has resulted in us having another female member in the Group’s management team”, comments a pleased Günter Geyer, CEO of the Vienna Insurance Group. “With her enthusiasm and commitment, as well as her international experience, she is a great asset to the Vienna Insurance Group.”
Sabine Stiller, a native of Upper Austria, received a Business Consultancy degree at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt in Vienna. She joined Wiener Städtische in 2005 as an assistant to the Management Board in the General Secretariat before continuing her career in the Vienna Insurance Group by moving to the Czech group companies Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna (ČPP) and Kooperativa almost two years later.
“I am very pleased to have the opportunity to take on the new challenges and projects of the Vienna Insurance Group’s General Secretariat and am looking forward to contributing to the success of the company with the active and professional support of my team”, comments Ms. Stiller.
