Vienna Insurance Group in Hungary: Gábor Lehel takes over Chairmanship of the Board of the Union Biztosító

Biography
Gábor Lehel began working at the General Secretariat of the Vienna Insurance Group in 2003. In 2005, he established the Group’s Controlling Division, before he was appointed as Head of the General Secretariat in 2006. Since 2008, Gábor Lehel has been on the Board of the Union Biztosító. In addition, in 2010, he was a member of the Board of the Kooperativa in Slovakia. He originates from Szombathely in Western Hungary and studied Business Management, specialising in Finance, in Tatabánya and Budapest. Before joining the Vienna Insurance Group, Gábor Lehel worked as an analyst and stockbroker in Budapest.
