Your Tasks
Join Vienna Insurance Group and play an active role in shaping IFRS 17 reporting and financial steering across our Life & Health insurance business in Central and Eastern Europe.
In this international role, you will contribute to the interpretation, validation and further development of IFRS 17 methodologies and results across multiple markets. Working closely with Group Finance, actuarial experts, IT teams and local business units across the CEE region, you will gain deep insights into the financial management of one of the leading insurance groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
This position offers broad international exposure, close collaboration with many stakeholders and the opportunity to actively influence group-wide actuarial and financial processes in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.
- Analyse, validate and interpret IFRS 17 results and key performance drivers for Life & Health insurance portfolios across multiple markets
- Contribute to the further development, harmonisation and optimisation of IFRS 17 methodologies and reporting processes across the Group
- Collaborate closely with Finance and IT teams to define business requirements and interfaces to financial systems
- Drive IFRS 17 roll-outs and contribute to the integration of new entities across international markets
- Develop and implement meaningful KPIs and steering metrics to support financial and business decision-making
- Perform ongoing performance analyses and identify opportunities for process and portfolio optimisation
- Prepare management reports, analyses and decision-making materials for stakeholders
- Contribute to cross-functional and international projects within the Group
Your Profile
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- Relevant professional experience in actuarial reporting, IFRS 17 or Life & Health insurance
- Good understanding of actuarial methodologies and insurance accounting standards, particularly IFRS 17
- Experience with actuarial or analytical tools such as Prophet, Python, R or SQL is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking skills combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent English skills are required; German is an advantage but not mandatory

Our mission
Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 668,49 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
