Your Tasks

You will participate in the actuarial and reporting processes of VIG Holding and VIG Group with focus on non-life and reinsurance business. Your tasks will cover a broad range of activities:

  • Dealing with and performing actuarial tasks in non-life insurance and reinsurance
  • Calculate and validate expected cashflows under IFRS 17 and Solvency II
  • Support the development and regular updates of the group non-life actuarial model
  • Support our solo entities in CEE using the group non-life actuarial model (methodology, model specifics, best practice, process)
  • Cross-functional projects within VIG Holding and Group
  • Continuous monitoring of the performance, identifying areas for improvement, and preparing management reports to guide business decisions

Your Profile

  • Degree in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or similar
  • Skills and affinity to databases and programming (Microsoft SQL Server or similar, Python, PowerShell, C#...)
  • Experience in actuarial modelling (ResQ) will be considered as a plus
  • Analytical thinking, a holistic and result oriented approach
  • Ability to communicate and present results in English (C1), German will be considered as a plus

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 436,86 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
