Your Tasks
- Strategic planning, further development, and implementation of the SOC/SIEM strategy, taking into account the security requirements and compliance regulations of the VIG Group
- Identification and evaluation of new technologies and trends in the SOC/SIEM domain – with a focus on efficiency improvements and the specific needs of our customers
- Technical leadership of projects for the introduction of new SOC/SIEM functions and technologies
- End-to-end responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the SOC/SIEM service: from planning and implementation to operations and maintenance – ensuring availability, performance, and stability
- Definition, monitoring, and assurance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Close collaboration with the Group Competence Center SOC/SIEM as well as with customers to gather requirements and align the service accordingly
- Regular communication with customers on service status, developments, and security-relevant incidents, as well as building and maintaining relationships with external partners and suppliers
- Preparation and presentation of regular reports on service status, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and security incidents – both for management and for customers
Your Profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable discipline
- Good knowledge of SOC/SIEM systems and technologies, ideally with experience in multi-tenant environments and complex international organizations
- Deep understanding of IT security, cyber defense, as well as relevant security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and industry-specific compliance requirements
- Several years of experience in leading and delivering IT projects, preferably with a focus on multi-tenant solutions
- Experience in technical coordination and project leadership, ideally with direct customer interaction
- Strong communication and presentation skills – also in international contexts
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills combined with problem-solving and decision-making abilities – even in critical situations and under time pressure
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage

Our mission
