Your Tasks

  • Processing claims in the field of marine transport (shipping of goods, CMR, land hull, river hull, film insurance, art insurance, etc.)
  • Clarification / investigation of facts incl. checking cover and liability
  • Determination of compensation and documentation
  • Commissioning / coordination / monitoring of experts, lawyers and external service providers where necessary
  • Co-operation / negotiations with national and international major clients and brokers' offices


Your Profile

  • Relevant professional experience
  • Training in the field of transport (insurance) or freight forwarding / logistics is an advantage
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Negotiating skills and customer orientation
  • High motivation and initiative
  • Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English; knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 2.471,00 gross on the basis of full-time employment (38.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full-time position is to be filled in our subsidiary, Vienna International Underwriters.
