Strategic goal of the department
Insurance Life & Non-Life Retail is the interface for underwriting issues – both internally and between the companies. We support the optimisation of sales and earnings, ensure the Group-wide transfer of know-how and shape future topics together with the Group.
Core tasks:
- Exchanging with the companies and serving as the active contact for all insurance-related questions
- Networking with and between the companies
- Analysing, gathering and communicating experiences and innovations from the Group or from the market to the Group
- Supporting in improving the actuarial result in the companies
- Ensuring Group-wide cooperation on future actuarial topics
Daily Business:
- Optimising reports in cooperation with Controlling
- Conducting dialogue with the VIG units on developments in the companies
- Preparing root cause analyses based on key figures
- Supporting cross-border activities and individual companies
- Establishing networks for experts for technical discussion between the companies
- Performing a Group-wide interface function for all topics from the area of retail underwriting
- Organising Group-wide workshops

Key Qualifications

Communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Good written and spoken English
Additional foreign language(s) an advantage
Insurance experience from underwriting to claims settlement
Actuarial or financial knowledge
Mathematics or business studies
Analytical thinking and MS Office skills
