The Vienna Insurance Group in the Czech Republic: Personnel changes in the Managing Board of Kooperativa
At its meeting today, and at the suggestion of its Chairman, Günter Geyer, the Supervisory Board of Kooperativa pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group appointed Hana Machačová Deputy CEO with effect from 1 April 2012. She succeeds Konštantín Alexejenko, who is retiring on 31 March 2012. Jiři Sýkora will be appointed to the Managing Board as of 1 January 2012.

With the appointment of Hana Machačová is yet another woman at the top management level in one of our core markets in Central and Eastern Europe. She is familiar with the structures of the largest Group company outside Austria and will, through her experience, substantially contribute to the achievement of the company's goals”, comments Günter Geyer, CEO of the Vienna Insurance Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kooperativa, with regard to the appointment of Hana Machačová.
As from 1 April 2012, the Managing Board of Kooperativa will therefore comprise the following members:
