Vienna Insurance Group: Franz Fuchs was awarded the title “Kommerzialrat”
Franz Fuchs, member of the Managing Board of Vienna Insurance Group AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe, was awarded the professional title “Kommerzialrat” for his outstanding contribution und service to the insurance industry. The decree granting the title “Kommerzialrat” (“Councillor of Commerce”) was presented to him in Palais Festetics in Vienna on 20 June 2013 by Paulus Stuller, vice president of the Vienna Economic Chamber.

About Franz Fuchs
Franz Fuchs, born in 1953, is a certified actuary. He started his career as an actuary specialised in personal insurance. Born in Lower Austrian region, Waldviertel, he earned valuable experience as an insurance manager in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. In 2003 he joined Vienna Insurance Group and took over the helm of the Polish Group companies Compensa Life and Non-Life. In 2009 he became a member of the Managing Board of the Group. His key activities in the company include responsibility for the countries Poland, Romania and the Baltic States as well as performance management personal insurance.
