Pension systems in Europe: challenges and best practices
ERSTE Foundation and Vienna Insurance Group pursue the goal of creating and securing prosperity for all. Together, they initiated this study – conducted by EcoAustria – on 11 different European pension systems, their history and their benefits, with the aim of creating a common knowledge base.
This fact-based overview of pension systems in Europe can serve as a starting point for a broad, open and inclusive discussion among all stakeholders on how the Austrian pension system could be reformed towards the best possible version for future generations.
