B for Balance Sheet

 

  1. Strategic goal of the department
    This is where the consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS and newly acquired companies are integrated.
  2. Core tasks:
    • Supporting the domestic and foreign VIG insurance companies in all accounting matters
    • Preparing special analyses
    • Reporting actual figures to the Management Board, Supervisory Board, Investor Relations and CO³
  3. Daily Business:
    • Preparing the consolidated financial statements
    • Participating in cross-departmental, international projects

Key Qualifications

  • Business degree
  • Initial relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing/tax consultancy an advantage
  • Ideally good understanding of balance sheets
  • Knowledge of economic relationships
  • Distinct understanding of numbers and accuracy
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • High orientation on goals and results
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of social and communication skills
  • SAP experience an advantage
